

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- A man is dead, and his son is facing charges after a stabbing Wednesday evening in Durham, according to police.
The Durham Police Department said officers responded to a reported stabbing in the 600 block of Old Oxford Road around 5:56 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found Hugo Reyes Gasca, 46, suffering from stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the suspect, 24-year-old Mauricio Yael Reyes Rubio of Durham, was taken into custody. Rubio is the victim's son.

He was charged with murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
